Few consider collaboration

The Charity Commission have published their latest survey into the effects of the recession on charities.

The survey shows that charities with an income of between £100,000 and £1 million are the hardest hit. This is due to an increasing demand for their services while incomes and investments are dropping.

Perhaps not surprisingly, the Charity Commission found that few charities were collaborating with other charities to save costs. Only 3% overall had considered collaboration or mergers.
