Groups or individuals are invited to apply for funding for projects or initiatives which will reduce the number of people in Lewisham who smoke. The delivery group responsible for this action plan has £11,000 for 2011/12 for initiatives to reduce the number of people in Lewisham who smoke. Lewisham’s Smokefree Future Action Plan sets out how it will:-

• stop the promotion of tobacco;

•  regulate tobacco products well;

• help tobacco users to quit;

• reduce exposure to secondhand smoke; and

• communicate effectively

If you, your group or organisation want to apply for funding, please demonstrate how your project or initiative is based on evidence of what works and will:-

• influence young people not to start smoking OR

• motivate people who smoke to stop smoking OR

• motivate people to smoke outside their homes and cars to protect their children and family

• demonstrate good value for money

• explain how their initiative will make an impact
