Third Sector's Recession Watch panel has met to consider the latest effect of the recession. They found that there was some hope for optimism with Comic Relief and Children in Need both having successful appeals recently. However, donations from both small to medium sized businesses , and from charitable trusts have suffered. They also predict that income from public sector sources will be hit hard in the next financial year.
