Voting for the LSP elections closed at midday on Tuesday. Joel Hartfield from the LSP team supervised the ballot count.

As a result of the ballot, the 5 organisations with the most votes were:

• Deptford Community Forum (27 votes)
• Lewisham Education Arts Network (25 votes)
• Lewisham Ethnic Minority Partnership (32 votes)
• Voluntary Action Lewisham (47 votes)
• Volunteer Centre Lewisham (38 votes)

Reps from these organisations will sit on the LSP from Sept onwards until the summer of 2011, when the next election will be held.

Many thanks to Ableone (12 votes), African Welfare Organisation (6 votes), Phoenix Community Housing (21 votes) and Under Pressure (6 votes) – unfortunately these were not successful.

By September we will be reviewing membership of the Stronger Communities Partnership Board, where we have many more VCS reps, so there will be another chance to stand for election then.
