Lewisham Council is inviting all voluntary and community organisations to take part in Lewisham People’s Day 2010, which will be held on Saturday 10 July at Mountsfield Park in Catford.

Council raises £10K for charity

Lewisham Mayor Sir Steve Bullock has proudly handed over a cheque for £10,000 to the Lavender Trust at Breast Cancer Care. The money has been collected through numerous fundraising events organised by Lewisham Council over the past year.

On Monday 1 March 2010, Lewisham Council agreed to freeze council tax at current levels for the coming year.
